About IRIS

IRIS pairs legendary 87-year-old documentarian Albert Maysles with Iris Apfel, the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed 93-year-old style maven who has had an outsized presence on the New York fashion scene for decades. More than a fashion film, the documentary is a story about creativity and how a soaring free spirit continues to inspire. IRIS portrays a singular woman whose enthusiasm for fashion, art and people are life’s sustenance and reminds us that dressing, and indeed life, is nothing but an experiment. Despite the abundance of glamour in her current life, she continues to embrace the values and work ethic established during a middle-class Queens upbringing during the Great Depression. “I feel lucky to be working. If you’re lucky enough to do something you love, everything else follows.”

About Andrea Fenise

A professional stylist since 2005, Andrea has slowly been building her brand, meticulously planning each move and appearing on nationally syndicated shows like Good Morning Memphis as a style correspondent on BET's 106 & Park. Owner of Style Junkie , a pop up boutique that offers stylish women’s accessories at affordable prices, Andrea has used this endeavor as a springboard for her other business ventures: personal image development & lifestyle coaching and workshops, creative consultant to artists and media publications, and recently she began hosting style parties.

Hard working, dedicated, and humble, Andrea is well on her way to becoming a major player in the fashion industry. Her philosophy is that when you look good, you feel good, and she’s helping women get there, one closet at a time.
